In this entry-level health care position, you will help CHCC’s friendly dietary team deliver food to our residents so they can receive the nutrition they need to remain strong and healthy.
- Prepare food items and deliver food carts to designated care units.
- Perform detailed cleaning of kitchen areas and equipment.
- Assist with tray line.
- Assist with dishwashing.
- Prepare instant breakfast, beverages and fortified milk.

- Must have or be able to obtain a food handler's permit.
- Must be able to stand, walk and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Three to six months of general kitchen work experience is preferred.
- Experience working in a medical facility kitchen preferred.
- Have a positive working rapport with fellow staff members as well as patients and residents.
- Be compassionate, have great communication skills and a pleasant, professional manner.
- Have knowledge of kitchen equipment, including dishwasher, coffee maker, juice machine, food processor.
- Comply with all facility policies and procedures.
