This Privacy Policy governs visits to the CHCC website. For the policy that governs information pertaining to CHCC residents and clients, please visit https://chcclynden.org/privacy-policy/.
Who we are
Christian Health Care Center is a locally owned and operated skilled health care facility. Our website is https://chcclynden.org/, and our physical address is 855 Aaron Drive, Lynden, WA 98264.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Comments: The CHCC website does not accept comments on blog articles or pages.
Media: The CHCC website does not allow for the uploading of images by the general public, but if you do share images with us through some other means, you should avoid sharing images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included, as this location data can be extracted by people with access to the images.
Contact forms: Our website contains various forms that allow you to submit a message or question, along with your name and email address. We collect this information to aid us in responding to your question. Information submitted via the contact forms is stored in our website’s database and sent to our website administrator via email. This is so that we can begin a conversation with you and respond quickly to your question or comment. We keep this correspondence stored in email so that we can continue our conversation at a later date without losing the context of what we’ve already discussed.
Cookies: Google Analytics and Google Advertising features are installed on the CHCC website, potentially to include Remarketing with Google Analytics; Google Display Network Impression Reporting; Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting; and Integrated services that require Google Analytics to collect data for advertising purposes, including the collection of data via advertising cookies and identifiers.
Information collected by Google may include end user location, search history, YouTube history, and data from sites that partner with Google—and is used to provide aggregated and anonymized insights into users’ cross device behaviors.
Included here is Google’s explanation of how its Analytics platform uses cookies:
“Google Analytics mainly uses first-party cookies to report on visitor (aka. user) interactions on Google Analytics customers’ websites. Users may disable cookies or delete any individual cookie.
In addition, Google Analytics supports an optional browser add-on that – once installed and enabled – disables measurement by Google Analytics for any site a user visits. Note that this add-on only disables Google Analytics measurement.
Where a site or app uses Google Analytics for Apps or the Google Analytics for Firebase SDKs, Google Analytics collects an app-instance identifier — a randomly generated number that identifies a unique installation of an App. Whenever a user resets their Advertising Identifier (Advertising ID on Android, and ID for Advertisers on iOS), the app-instance identifier is also reset.
Where sites or apps have implemented Google Analytics with other Google Advertising products, like Google Ads, additional advertising identifiers may be collected. Users can opt-out of this feature and manage their settings for this cookie using the Ads Settings.
Google Analytics also collects Internet Protocol (IP) addresses to provide and protect the security of the service, and to give website owners a sense of which country, state, or city in the world their users come from (also known as “IP geolocation”). Google Analytics provides a method to mask IPs that are collected (detailed below) but note that website owners have access to their users’ IP addresses even if the website owners do not use Google Analytics.”

You may opt out of Google Analytics tracking by using the tools Google has made available here. In addition, you may view Google’s My Activity page to view and delete information Google has stored about you.
Most browsers are set to accept cookies by default. You may choose to remove and/or reject cookies, using your browser settings to do so. This may affect how the website functions for you.
Embedded content from other websites: On occasion, articles posted on this site may include embedded content, such as videos, images and articles. Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website. These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Mailing list: You have the option of submitting your email address to join our mailing list. We use MailChimp for our mailing services. Any email address you submit via our form is sent to MailChimp and stored there for the purpose of our sending you our newsletter or recruiting updates. MailChimp has shared information about how their policies protect your data in Section 3, Privacy for Contacts, of MailChimp’s policy. You may unsubscribe from the CHCC mailing list at any time; to do so, just follow the links in the emails.
Job and training application forms: CHCC offers web forms to enable members of the public to apply for training and/or jobs at our facility. All information collected via these forms is used only for the purposes for which they are collected.
Online scheduling forms: Visitors to the CHCC website may use the scheduling form at https://chcclynden.org/scheduling/ to sign up for a visit. This form collects information necessary to plan and prepare visits with those living at CHCC. When users submit the form, the information submitted is sent to CHCC via email and stored on the Squarespace Scheduling platform, which we use to manage our schedule. Any information collected via this form is used only for the purpose for which it was submitted. You can find the privacy policy for Squarespace Scheduling at https://www.squarespace.com/privacy.
