Working as a health care professional and providing compassionate care and comfort for those who need it can be rewarding work. Each day, you are in a position to make someone smile, to help ease their burden, and impact the lives of others: patients, residents, their families, and coworkers, too!
There are many roles at Christian Health Care Center in Lynden that offer the opportunity to care for others, to make a special contribution that makes a difference no matter where you are on your career path.
Caring for those who care for others
Whether you are just beginning a career in nursing, are an experienced RN who would like to return to school for an advanced degree, are a social worker, dietary aid, or have some other role in caring for others, it’s important to work for an employer that offers competitive pay and generous benefits.
We could all use some extra career support: relevant work experience in our field, the camaraderie of a fun team and financial assistance for continuing education. Christian Health Care Center offers all of this and much more to care for those who work here.
Our Lynden health care campus has recently expanded its tuition reimbursement program, which assists employees with continuing education so they can learn and grow in ways that benefit those we serve.
Team members who have been employed at CHCC continuously for one year and work an average of 20 hours per week may be eligible for the tuition reimbursement program.
Educational assistance can be provided for courses of study that are related to your current position or will enhance your potential for promotion at Christian Health Care Center. For approved courses, tuition reimbursement can be up to $2,000 per quarter.
