At CHCC, we believe in celebrating the exceptional contributions of our team members. Each month, the Shining Star recognition honors individuals. These honorees exemplify dedication, compassion and excellence in their work, inspiring others and enhancing the quality of care we provide. CHCC is a premier skilled nursing center in Whatcom County because of their efforts.
Our non-nursing Shining Star is Nick H. (dining room assistant). Nick is always willing to help and is known for being flexible, dependable and dedicated.
He was nominated multiple times, including by a resident who shared, “Nick is a shining star. He always goes above and beyond and has a great work ethic.”

Our nursing Shining Star is Princesa G. (RN) She is consistently kind and friendly, and her dedication does not go unnoticed. Coworkers shared the following:
