Each month, CHCC recognizes employees who are compassionate, kind and helpful to others by giving them Shining Star awards. The team members listed below were recognized in April 2024.

Eric C.: Our non-nursing Shining Star for April was Eric C., a cook who has been with CHCC since 2006. Eric’s culinary skills shine through in his ability to create a wide variety of healthy, delicious meals. He demonstrates flexibility and dedication, and he is always ready to lend a hand on any shift when needed.

Eric’s sense of humor adds a bright touch, even on stressful days. Colleagues have shared their thoughts about Eric:

“Eric is incredibly hardworking and always ready to assist others.”

“His humor brings smiles to everyone.”

“Eric’s love and compassion make him a joy to work with and truly deserving of the shining star title!”

“He’s highly reliable, always stepping up to work extra hours or days without hesitation.”

Noreen Q.: Our nursing Shining Star is Noreen Q., an RN who has been with CHCC since 2022. Noreen’s exceptional skills and flexibility allow her to work effectively on any unit, although she is primarily on the day shift at rehab. She is known for her kindness, compassion and ability to bring a sense of calm to every situation. Colleagues have praised her, saying:

“Noreen is a fantastic nurse!”

“She maintains a positive attitude, even in challenging situations.”

“It’s a pleasure to work alongside her!”
