CHCC staff and the families of people receiving care here are invited to participate in a collaborative research study from the University of Washington, the University of Pittsburg and the University of California Los Angeles.
What is the purpose of the study?
A research team from the University of Pittsburgh is exploring the impact of COVID-19 and federal policy changes on experiences as health care providers, patients and families navigating their healthcare services. Researchers want to hear from organizations, staff, patients and families about what care is like in healthcare and how it has changed across the United States.
How will the data be shared that is received from participants?
All data that is shared by participants is de-identified, which ensures that anything survey participants share is not linked back to their name or organization. Researchers are performing interviews across the country to facilitate representation of care. They plan to share the cumulative findings in a variety of ways, such as published manuscripts and presentations to the post-acute care community. They will also share their findings with policymakers and participants once the data is collected and analyzed.
The flyer shown below provides additional information and contact information for qualifying people who would like to participate.
