Referral Information
Policy: We recognize that word of mouth is a very good recruiting tool. Current employees who recruit friends and family to join our team at CHCC may receive a recruitment bonus. The employee making the referral should be noted on the employment application or mentioned during the interview of the new candidate, and a referral award program form must be completed within the first two weeks of the new employee’s date of hire.
Policy explanation and compliance guidelines: The recruitment bonus amount will vary depending on the type of position filled.
Certified CNA: Employees recruiting certified CNA’s will receive up to $2,000 bonus over a six-month period. $100 will be added to their first paycheck in the month after the new employee has completed two full months of work. Bonus amounts will increase as follows:
- second month – $100
- third month – $150
- fourth month – $200
- fifth month – $350
- sixth month – $500
- seventh month – $700
- Total: $2,000 bonus
Newly recruited CNAs must work a minimum of 24 hours per week.
LPN/RN: Employees recruiting an LPN/RN will receive up to $3,000 bonus over a six-month period. $250 will be added to their first paycheck of the month after the new employee has completed two full months of work. Bonus amounts will increase as follows:
- second month – $250
- third month – $350
- fourth month – $450
- fifth month – $550
- sixth month – $650
- seventh month – $750
- Total: $3,000
Newly recruited LPNs/RNs must work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
Newly recruited LPNs/RNs who works less than 20 hours per week, but at least 12 hours per week qualify for a referral bonus of $2,000 (see CNA bonus pay-out above).
All other positions: Employees recruiting for any other position will receive up to $1,000 bonus over a five month period. $100 will be added to their first paycheck of the month after the new employee has completed two full months of work. Bonus amounts will increase as follows:
- second month – $100
- third month – $150
- fourth month – $200
- fifth month – $250
- sixth month $300
- Total: $1,000
Newly recruited employees must work a minimum of 12 hours per week.
