Referral Information

Policy: We recognize that word of mouth is a very good recruiting tool. Current employees who recruit friends and family to be employees at CHCC may receive a recruitment bonus. The employee making the referral should be noted on the employment application or mentioned during the interview of the new candidate. A Referral Aware Program Form must be completed within the first two weeks of the new employee’s date of hire.

Policy Explanation and Compliance Guidelines: The recruitment bonus amount will vary depending on the type of position filled.

Certified NAC: Employees recruiting certified NAC’s will receive up to $2000 bonus over a six month period. Their first $100 will be added to their first paycheck of the month after the new employee has worked one full month. Bonus amounts will increase as follows:

  • first month – $100
  • second month – $150
  • third month – $200
  • fourth month – $350
  • fifth month – $500
  • sixth month – $700
  • Total: $2000 Bonus

Non-certified Nursing Assistant: Employees recruiting Nursing Assistants Registered will receive $1000 on the 1st paycheck of the month after the new employee has been certified. Then they will receive another $1000 paid out over five months at $200 per month.

***New NAC/NAR employees recruited must work a minimum of 24 hours per week.

LPN/RN: Employees recruiting an LPN/RN will receive up to $3000 bonus over a six month period. Their first $250 will be added to their first paycheck of the month after the new employee has worked one full month. Bonus amounts will increase as follows:

  • first month – $250
  • second month – $350
  • third month – $450
  • fourth month – $550
  • fifth month – $650
  • sixth month – $750
  • Total: $3000

***New LPN/RN recruited must work a minimum of 20 hours per week.

***New LPN/RN recruited who works less than 20 hours per week, but at least 12 hours per week will result in a referral bonus of $2000 (see NAC bonus Pay-out above).

All other positions: Employees recruiting any other needed position will receive up to $1000 bonus over a five month period. Their first $100 will be added to their first paycheck of the month after the new employee has worked one full month. Bonus amounts will increase as follows:

  • first month – $100
  • second month – $150
  • third month – $200
  • fourth month – $250
  • fifth month $300
  • Total: $1000

***New employee recruited must work a minimum of 12 hours per week.
