These honorees exemplify dedication, compassion and excellence in their work, inspiring others and enhancing the quality of care we provide. CHCC is a premier skilled nursing center in Whatcom County because of their efforts.
Our non-nursing Shining Star is Anna C. Anna shines so brightly that she is regularly nominated by many different people, including residents. This is the third time in her many years at CHCC that she has been selected, which is rare, but anyone who knows Anna understands why she deserves this recognition.
She is kind to her core and demonstrates our mission every day through her compassion, dedication and devotion to residents.

Our nursing Shining Star is Virginia S. She is a CNA who has been part of the CHCC team for nearly five years. Virginia is a skilled and flexible professional who willingly shifts to any unit where she is needed. Virginia picks up extra shifts and brings a positive spirit to every day. Residents and staff alike appreciate her terrific care.
