At CHCC, we believe in celebrating the exceptional contributions of our team members. Each month, the Shining Star recognition honors individuals. These honorees exemplify dedication, compassion and excellence in their work, inspiring others and enhancing the quality of care we provide. CHCC is a premier skilled nursing center in Whatcom County because of their efforts.
Our non-nursing Shining Star is Sarah V. Sarah has been part of the dietary team for four years. Over that time, she has taken on additional responsibilities and continues to prove she is smart, capable and dependable. Known for her efficiency, organization and calm approach under pressure, Sarah also brings a great sense of humor to the workplace.
She consistently strives to prepare meals that enhance the lives of residents, families and staff. She even considers how meals are presented, adding a thoughtful touch to her work.
A teammate from therapeutic recreation shared this: “She carefully puts all of our ingredients and supplies together in an easy-to-use manner with accurate measurements. We can be confident it’s prepared well and won’t have to run around for anything later. Thanks so much!”
