At CHCC, we believe in celebrating the exceptional contributions of our team members. Each month, the Shining Star recognition honors individuals. These honorees exemplify dedication, compassion and excellence in their work, inspiring others and enhancing the quality of care we provide. CHCC is a premier skilled nursing center in Whatcom County because of their efforts.
Our non-nursing Shining Star is Stephen B. He has worked in the maintenance department since last summer and quickly earned a reputation as a hardworking team member with a positive attitude. He is responsive, respectful and works well with everyone.
Stephen is thorough and efficient in getting things done and brings a smile to every situation. We’re fortunate he joined the CHCC team.

Our nursing Shining Star is Cameron K. She is a DRA who usually works day shift but has filled in wherever she is needed. She has worked at CHCC since June 2022. Cameron is known for her hard work, efficiency and especially for her loving and approachable manner. She is so kind to our residents and friendly to everyone. She’s a leader who is a team player. We’re very fortunate to have Cameron as part of our team!
