Lynden Dementia Care

Dementia care admissions at CHCC are accepted on a case-by-case basis. Please call social services at 360-354-4434 for additional information and to schedule an assessment.

CHCC was thoughtfully designed to meet the needs and maintain the dignity of people living with memory impairments. Our nursing staff and caregivers use compassion and proven dementia-care concepts to create a loving and enriching environment for those who live here.

Safety is a top priority here. CHCC is laid out in a way that allows freedom of movement and mobility while maintaining safety. Cycling Without AgeWide interior corridors provide plenty of room for residents who like to move about the building, and fully enclosed courtyards offer walking paths, seating areas and landscaped gardens.

A seasonal chaperoned cycling program allows dementia care residents the opportunity to get outside and feel the sunshine on their skin and wind through their hair.

Since its founding in 1956, Christian Health Care Center has placed a priority on caring for vulnerable older adults, including people living with dementia challenges. Our decades of experience, combined with helpful technology, a well-designed building and robust training, are reasons why CHCC continues to be a trusted eldercare provider in Whatcom County.
