Many factors play a role in the decision of where medically reliant loved ones will live in older age: proximity to family, appropriate levels of nursing care, quality of life, variety of activities, availability of necessary services and many more.

To that end, it can be helpful to know what services you can expect when a loved one comes to live at Christian Health Care Center.

Know that when you or a loved one stay at our Lynden health care center, we do our best to keep things simple and clear. You won’t find a bunch of “nickel and dime” charges for things like over-the-counter medicines or standard supplies that you might need here and there. Our daily rate is as inclusive as we can make it, so you don’t have to spend a lot of time worrying about what might or might not be covered.

Skilled health care, meals, snacks, laundry, housekeeping, over-the-counter medicines, cable television, telephone, standard medical supplies, activities, typical personal care supplies, rehab equipment — all are included.

If you have any questions about specific items that you know you might need, please feel free to reach out to our admissions team at 360-354-4434 so we can discuss those with you.

At Christian Health Care Center, as a locally owned nonprofit long-term care center, we strive to meet the needs of those we serve while fulfilling our mission of providing skilled health care with compassion and love in Christ’s name. We’re here to help. Reach out any time.
