Christian Health Care Center has been recognized as one of the best places to receive care in our region.
In October 2025, our locally managed nonprofit earned a spot on Newsweek’s “America’s Best Nursing Homes 2026” list. This distinction is shared by only 14 facilities in Washington, and we are the only facility north of Stanwood to receive this honor.
The Department of Health and Human Services reports that there are more than 15,000 Medicare- or Medicaid-certified nursing homes in the United States, serving approximately 1.2 million residents.
According to Newsweek, the “America’s Best Nursing Homes 2026” list recognizes the top eight percent of nursing homes. 1,200 facilities were evaluated on performance data, peer recommendations, accreditations and resident satisfaction, with performance data carrying increased weight to reflect the growing focus on clinical quality metrics.
This recognition reflects our steadfast commitment to providing skilled nursing care with compassion and love in Christ’s name.
At CHCC, every team member, including nurses, therapists, nursing assistants, social workers, dietary staff, recreational staff, drivers and support personnel, contributes to an environment where residents receive high-quality care while remaining close to home.
