Christian Health Care Center’s transition support nurses are honored to be invited to an upcoming gala in Bellingham, where they will be recognized with a health care award from Whatcom Dispute Resolution Center.
The team was nominated for this award earlier this year; WDRC recognized and appreciated that these dedicated nurses work every day to “bring peace of mind, body and spirit to patients, families and caregivers through compassionate and excellent communication, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.”
CHCC care transitions nurses are:
- Partnered with the Health Ministries Network, whose goal is to achieve holistic healing and good health through all denominations and religious affiliations
- Professional registered nurses recognized by the American Nurses Association
- Graduates of the basic preparation course for faith community nurses
- Trained to provide personal consultations with seniors in our community and offer education, counseling, advocacy and referrals
