May 12, 2026: Beginning May 13, the Aaron Drive reception desk hours at CHCC will be 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., adjusted from the previous 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. schedule.
Families and visitors are encouraged to use the Aaron Drive entrance during reception hours. Other times may be accommodated as needed.
If you arrive outside of reception hours, you can enter through the rehab entrance located on the north side, or rear, of the building. Questions? Please call 360-354-4434.
May 11, 2026: One staff tested positive for COVID May 8. They did not work in the building during their contagious period, so there was no exposure to others.
Courtyard garden closed: An outdoor space near the northwest corner of our building, commonly referred to as the Cove garden, is now closed as we prepare for an upcoming construction project. Please avoid that area.
Residents and visitors may continue to use the main courtyard garden, which is accessible through the activity room and Aaron Drive entrance.
Masking paused: Effective May 4, masks became optional for staff, residents, visitors, volunteers and others who enter the building. Masks and other personal protective equipment are still required when a resident is on precautions. Anyone may choose to wear a mask at any time.

Comcast interrruptions Tuesday: Comcast will perform routine maintenance in our area Tuesday, May 5. Interuptions to TV and phone services are expected. They will work as efficiently as possible to limit the duration of interruptions.
Two COVID cases: One staff member tested positive for COVID May 1 but did not work in the building during their contagious period, so there was no exposure to others. One staff member tested positive for COVID May 3. All potentially exposed residents are being tested.
We encourage everyone to practice good hand hygiene and delay visits if they are feeling unwell.
This Alert page will be updated every Monday (Tuesday if Monday falls on a holiday) if any positive COVID-19 tests were reported in the previous week. If no positive cases were reported during the previous week, the Alert page will not be updated.

CHCC will continue to test all staff and all consenting residents per local, state and federal guidelines. All staff members continue to be screened before they start work, and we monitor our residents daily, watching for any signs or symptoms of the virus. Infection control best practices are followed, and appropriate personal protective equipment is worn by all.
