Jim Roth, who spent nearly two decades as a pastor in Pennsylvania and North Carolina, recently joined Christian Health Care Center as a chaplain. Together, they deliver spiritual support services to our long-term care residents, therapeutic rehab patients and their families with compassion, regardless of their faith.
Jim and his wife, Evelyn, currently live across the border in Canada. Jim is a dual citizen of Canada and the United States.
In addition to his years as a full-time pastor, from which he is now retired, Jim also spent 18 years working in human resources, where he enjoyed working with people, managing employee relations and making company policies more understandable for everyone.
His favorite hobbies include traveling (he’s been all over the U.S. and Canada and has even been to Africa—specifically Zambia) and reading (especially autobiographies and pastoral sermons and articles).
Jim has a really good sense of humor, loves God and the Bible. Plus, he’s easygoing and cares about people and, most importantly, he enjoys a good cup of coffee.
Welcome to CHCC, Jim!
