Since 1956, families have turned to Christian Health Care Center to walk alongside them during life’s most tender moments. With established partnerships and a long history of providing hospice care in North Whatcom County, CHCC offers faith-based, patient-centered care focused on comfort and dignity at the end of life.
Our hospice program provides expert nursing care, symptom management and emotional and spiritual support for residents and their families. Hospice services are available in private or shared rooms, allowing families to choose the setting that best meets their needs.
Looking ahead, The Hospice Suites at CHCC will open in late 2026, offering a purpose-built hospice environment shaped by peace and presence. The suites will feature private rooms, a gathering space with kitchenette and comfortable seating, a reflection room, a bathing suite and access to a sanctuary garden, offering welcoming areas for loved ones to gather, talk and rest.
As a locally managed nonprofit serving the North Whatcom community, CHCC continuously reinvests in staffing, training and facilities to provide hospice care close to home.
