At CHCC, we believe in celebrating the exceptional contributions of our team members. Each month, the Shining Star recognition honors individuals. These honorees exemplify dedication, compassion and excellence in their work, inspiring others and enhancing the quality of care we provide. CHCC is a premier skilled nursing center in Whatcom County because of their efforts.
Our non-nursing Shining Star is Rachel C. She is a part-time receptionist who has a friendly, helpful demeanor. With years of experience in office management, she was a natural fit when the business office manager position opened. Rachel has excelled in this role, supporting residents and families as they navigate the complex health care payment system and following up on past-due accounts to help keep CHCC running smoothly. She embraces opportunities to learn and is implementing systems that improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Our nursing Shining Star is Courtney P. She is a hospitality aide/CNA and is able to work anywhere in the building and regularly floats between units as needed.
