These honorees exemplify dedication, compassion and excellence in their work, inspiring others and enhancing the quality of care we provide. CHCC is a premier skilled nursing center in Whatcom County because of their efforts.
Our non-nursing Shining Star is Megan H. Megan joined our housekeeping team last October and has quickly become an important part of CHCC.
While she is quiet, she is always friendly and kind. She has learned the routines well and takes great care of the environment and home space for our residents.
Megan is efficient, and at the same time, she approaches her work with true kindness. We are grateful she joined our team.

Our Shining Star for nursing is Liesl M., a nursing assistant who usually works the day shift and has been part of our CHCC team since May 2023.
She is known for her compassion, efficiency and dedication to residents. Liesl provides excellent care with kindness and friendliness, always keeping her focus on meeting residents’ needs.
