Every October, American’s recognize National Physical Therapy Month—a time to honor the remarkable contributions of physical therapists. At CHCC, we see firsthand how these skilled professionals help our short-stay rehabilitation patients regain not just their health, but their independence and confidence.

Life can change in an instant—whether it’s a planned surgery, a sudden illness or an unexpected injury. When those moments happen, having the right support to help you recover quickly and safely is essential.

CHCC’s in-patient therapeutic rehab programs are designed to provide a supportive, healing environment where physical therapists, occupational therapists and speech-language pathologists work together to create a personalized plan for everyone’s needs.

Our in-house therapeutic rehab programs, provided by a partnership with Infinity Rehab, focus on providing the specialized care needed to recover, regain independence and return home as quickly and safely as possible. Here are some benefits of therapeutic rehab care:

  • A supportive environment. It is important to feel supported during recovery. At CHCC, our experienced staff will be with you every step of the way, helping you build your strength, manage pain and regain confidence.
  • Prevent complications. Short-stay rehab isn’t just about recovery, it’s about preventing further injury. Therapists work to improve balance, coordination and strength to reduce the risk of falls and other complications that could delay healing.
  • Post-surgery recovery. After a joint replacement, heart surgery or another procedure, rehab can help to regain mobility and strength.
  • Stroke rehabilitation. Stroke can impact movement, speech and cognitive abilities. Speech language pathologists provide a comprehensive rehab plan to help survivors rebuild their lives.
  • Managing chronic conditions. For those dealing with conditions like arthritis, Parkinson’s disease or other chronic health issues, therapy services can improve quality of life by managing pain and increasing mobility.

In-patient rehab isn’t just about physical recovery, it’s about helping people feel whole again. We know how important it is for our patients to return to their normal lives, and CHCC team of nurses and therapists is here to support them every step of the way.

If you or a loved one needs therapeutic rehabilitation, CHCC is here for you. We’re just a phone call or email away. Reach out to us at 360-354-4434 or admits@chcclynden.org to learn more.
