Nursing Assistant Certified (NAC)

Help patients perform activities of daily living. Assist with mobility, eating, toileting, range of motion, bathing, grooming, positioning and basic skin care. Day, evening and night shifts may be available. Night shifts receive $2.00 per hour shift differential. Shift rotation is four days on, two days off.

RN/LPN’s work as a member of the healthcare team under the supervision of a unit coordinator. Duties include assessing patient condition, performing treatments, passing medications, and monitoring effects of treatments and medications. They communicate with families and doctors and supervise, teach and evaluate nursing assistant team members. Current availability:

  • Three nights per week, full-time (12-hour shifts).

Housekeeping/Laundry

Housekeepers at CHCC are responsible for the daily cleaning of resident rooms and other facility common areas. Laundry workers clean, sanitize and restock all facility linens and laundry. Day and evening shifts – scheduled monthly, in advance — (5 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. or 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.). Four-day on, two-day off rotation.

Housekeeping/Laundry Float

Must be able to work day and evening shifts (5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. or 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.), including some weekends and holidays. 24 to 32 hours per week, scheduled monthly

Weekend Nursing (House) Supervisor

Helps ensure all patient care activities are carried out, supervises functions of nursing staff, coordinates admissions process. Must have a current WA RN or LPN license. Shifts are Saturday and Sunday, days, with other coverage as needed.

Monitors and manages case mix scores for residents on a restorative program. Supervises restorative aides. Works closely with nursing and therapy staff. Must be licensed in WA as an LPN, RN or COTA. 24 hours per week; shifts are weekdays.

Admission Coordinator, Weekends
Responsible for the smooth transition of residents into the facility. Support weekend staff, coordinate admissions, complete intake forms and financial paperwork. Act as liaison with referring agencies. Two to three days per week.

Dining Room Assistant

Transports elderly residents to and from the dining room, prepares food for elderly (such as cut meat) and serves beverages. Provides encouragement and conversation to residents during meal times. Approximately six to nine hours per week, shifts from 4 to 7 p.m.

Shift schedules

RN/LPN 12-Hour Shifts

  • Days: 6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
  • Nights: 6 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.

RN/LPN 8-Hour Shifts

  • Days: 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
  • Evenings: 2 to 10:30 p.m.
  • Nights: 10 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.

Shift differentials for nurses are $.25 per hour for evenings, $4 per hour for night shifts

Nursing Assistant Shifts

  • Days: 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
  • Evening: 2:15 to 10:45 p.m.
  • Nights: 10:30 p.m. to 7 a.m.
