Admission to CHCC

What sets Christian Health Care Center apart?

For one thing, it’s our family atmosphere. The members of our admissions and social services department, led by Steve Wallace, are, in many ways, like family for our residents. They’re hand-picked for their ability and desire to welcome residents to the facility and take care of their needs.

Our social services department assists individuals before, during and after they spend time in our facility.

The team monitors each long-term care resident’s social and emotional well-being during their stay at Christian Health Care Center.

They also work closely with families, physicians, and patients to coordinate short-stay medical rehabilitation discharge plans.

Referrals to additional eldercare resources are provided when appropriate, including assistance offered through our award-winning transition support program that helps rehabilitation patients safely transition from a hospital stay to therapeutic rehabilitation and then back home.

Contact Steve Wallace or Sarah Thomas to learn about the many ways Christian Health Care Center provides long-term care and therapeutic rehabilitation services to Whatcom County residents.
